Amy E. Iwamaye, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. Dr. Iwamaye graduated from Brown University where she received her Sc.B. in Neuroscience and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and received her Doctor of Medicine as well as completing her Residency Program in Internal Medicine. Dr. Iwamaye completed her Fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Metabolism, Diabetes & Endocrinology. She is an attending at Main Line Health - Paoli Hospital.
She was on the teaching faculty at Lankenau Hospital and a staff physician at CMC VA Medical Center in Philadelphia. She then became an Assistant Professor and practicing physician at Temple University, Lewis Katz School of Medicine, Endocrinology. Dr. Iwamaye is a member of the following professional organizations: American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society, Philadelphia Endocrine Society and American College of Physicians.
Dr. Iwamaye has been voted a Top Doctor in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism, Philadelphia magazine, 2023. She looks forward to utilizing her training and expertise to take care of her patients at Suburban Endocrinology Associates.
