Marilyn Ryan, M.D., received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York in 1974, and her M.D. in 1979 from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Ryan completed her internship and resident training from 1979-1982 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She then completed her three year fellowship in 1985 in Endocrinology at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.
Dr. Ryan is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism, a subspecialty by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is an attending physician at Main Line Health - Paoli Hospital.
Dr. Ryan is a member of the following professional organizations: Endocrine Society, American Diabetes Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology and the Philadelphia Endocrine Society.
Dr. Ryan has been voted a Top Doctor award in Endocrinology for Main Line Today magazine for many years, most recently 2020.
Dr. Ryan has been voted a Top Doctor in Endocrinology and Diabetes and Metabolism for Philadelphia Magazine in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021.
Dr. Ryan has been a Clinical Endocrinologist in private practice for more than 30 years. She is an Active Staff Member of Paoli Hospital.
Dr. Ryan was nominated for the Philadelphia Magazine's Top Doctors 2018.
