Jamie Dillinger, MSN, CRNP, CDE joined Suburban Endocrinology in 2006.
Jamie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Immaculata College, Immaculata, Pennsylvania in 1991 and then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing degree in 1999 from West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania, specializing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Community Health Nursing. In 2005, Jamie earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Widener University, Chester, Pennsylvania.
Jamie is a Certified Diabetes Educator, a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer and a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Recently, she joined the staff of Immaculata as an adjunct professor in the Nutrition Master's Program.
Jamie is a Diabetes Nurse Specialist. She has published many articles on Diabetes, Nursing and Managing Patients with Diabetes and Insulin Pump Therapy. She created a CD-ROM which teaches patients how to count carbohydrates. She was responsible for creating an intensive insulin management program for patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. This program has been implemented in diabetes centers in Philadelphia and surrounding county hospitals.
Jamie belongs to the following professional organizations: Pennsylvania Nurses Association, Philadelphia Chapter-American Association of Endocrinology, American Association of Diabetes Educator and local chapter. She was a member of the U.S Health Care Task Force when it was first established guidelines for managing patients with diabetes.
Jamie earned the Leadership Award from the Pennsylvania Nurse's Association in 1991 and has been recognized for Outstanding Contribution from the Main Line Chapter of the American Diabetes Association in 1995.
